Alien Swirling Saucers is getting a new DJ on September 25, 2026, when Lilypad from Toy Story 5 takes over the music in Toy Story Land. The ride vehicles and spinning layout are staying put; the big change is a new soundtrack and entertainment layer around the attraction.
Disney is calling the updated experience Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams. It is more than a single movie song, but Disney has not released the full playlist.

What Changes at Alien Swirling Saucers on September 25
Disney’s official Lilypad announcement says the frog-shaped smart tablet will join Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and the toys in Andy’s backyard beginning Friday, September 25.
Lilypad becomes the attraction’s DJ and story host. Disney has announced new audio and nearby entertainment, not a new ride system, track, height requirement, or capacity.
Lilypad’s Jams Adds New Toy Story Land Music
The soundtrack will mix reimagined Toy Story favorites with songs written for the attraction. Partysaurus Rex is among the returning characters Disney highlighted, while Lilypad will remix the music across different genres.
Disney has not published the complete song list or said whether every ride cycle will use the same track. That leaves some surprise for opening day.
You Can Experience Part of Lilypad’s Jams Without Riding
The update extends beyond the vehicles. Disney says Lilypad will introduce songs, hype the crowd, display drawing-app challenges, offer puzzles, and show “home videos” of Toy Story characters to guests around the attraction.
That matters for families with someone below the ride’s 32-inch minimum height or anyone who skips spinning rides. They can still catch some of the new character material from the surrounding area.
How Lilypad Fits Into a Hollywood Studios Day
The overlay may draw extra attention during its opening days, but Alien Swirling Saucers remains one piece of Toy Story Land rather than a brand-new headliner. Keep it grouped with Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania instead of crossing the park only for the soundtrack.
