Walt Disney World is preparing a limited AI-guided booking test that could finally make it easier to compare hotel dates, room discounts, transportation, and resort features without opening a stack of browser tabs.
The catch: this is not a public launch for everyone. Disney demonstrated the beta to invited media, but it has not published a full product page or firm rollout date. Early access will reportedly appear at random for some logged-in guests in the United States and Canada.

Disney World’s AI Vacation Planning Tools Explained
Independent reports from WDW News Today and Disney Tourist Blog describe a Google Cloud and Gemini-powered experience built into DisneyWorld.com.
Guests will be able to describe a trip in ordinary language—such as asking for a resort with a strong pool or a stay during EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. The system can return matched hotels, explain the match, compare dining and recreation, show transportation, and place resorts on a map.
A Disney Resort Price Calendar Could Be the Most Useful Feature
The biggest practical change may be a flexible pricing-and-availability calendar. Reports say it will show open dates and automatically surface the best available offer at the room-type level, reducing the need to repeat the same search under several discounts.
That could be especially helpful when comparing options in our Disney World Resort guide. Still, “best available” means best within the inventory and offers Disney presents to that account and search—not necessarily the cheapest possible vacation strategy.
The Guided Search Beta Will Not Replace Cast Members
Disney reportedly told media that the AI tools are optional. Guests can keep using the normal booking flow, and phone-based Cast Member help and independent travel agents will remain available.
The first beta also cannot book multiple rooms together. Dining reservations and Lightning Lane purchases are not part of this test, though Disney may expand its digital planning tools later.
What to Verify Before Booking a Disney World Hotel
AI summaries can be convenient, but changing details deserve a direct check. Confirm the room type, cancellation terms, offer eligibility, transportation, refurbishment notices, and total price on the final Disney checkout screen. The official Disney Resort hotel directory remains the primary source for hotel features.
