Disney World’s most expensive line-skipping option has dropped to a new low on two Magic Kingdom dates. The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is listed at per person on August 23 and August 25, giving some guests a cheaper entry point—but both dates are Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party days with shorter regular park hours.
The price is still too high for most families to treat as a casual add-on. The real question is whether the flexibility of one-time access to every eligible Lightning Lane attraction is worth nearly ,200 before tax for a family of four on a shortened day.

The Two Dates Are Not Ordinary Magic Kingdom Days
The reported price applies to August 23 and August 25, 2026. Both dates overlap with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so regular daytime guests should expect Magic Kingdom to close earlier than it would on a normal day.
That makes the discount less straightforward than the headline suggests. Guests who are also attending the party may be able to use Premier Pass during the daytime and then continue into the event, but the pass does not replace a separate party ticket.
What Premier Pass Buys You
Premier Pass provides one-time Lightning Lane access to each available eligible attraction in one park. Unlike Lightning Lane Multi Pass, it does not require guests to choose individual return windows throughout the day. That flexibility can matter to visitors balancing rides with dining, entertainment, or a hard departure time.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also showing a Premier Pass price on select dates. That is a return to the service’s previous low, not a new record. Animal Kingdom has fewer eligible attractions, which is why its price is normally much lower than Magic Kingdom’s.
Compare the Cost Before You Buy
A family of four would spend ,196 before tax on four Magic Kingdom Premier Passes at the rate. That may make sense for a short, high-priority day when every guest values flexibility, but it is a poor fit if the goal is only to skip one or two lines.
