A fall EPCOT dinner at Coral Reef is back on the planning calendar—but September and October visitors will need another choice. The aquarium-side restaurant closes September 8 for maintenance, with a November 4 return now appearing in Disney’s schedule, according to multiple reports.
Disney’s own restaurant notice still gives the broader reopening window of “later in 2026.” BlogMickey’s calendar report identifies November 4, while Disney Tourist Blog also reports dining reservations for that date. Treat it as the current planned return and check availability for your party before building the evening around it.

Two Different Plans for Fall Visitors
If your EPCOT day falls during the September 8–November 3 closure window, choose another dining location. For November 4 onward, Coral Reef becomes a possibility again, subject to the restaurant reopening as planned and a table being available.
The return does not currently include lunch. Reported November hours are 4–9 p.m., continuing dinner-only service. A midday aquarium-view meal should therefore stay off the itinerary unless Disney adds lunch hours later.
A Return Date Is Not a Menu Reveal
Disney describes the closure as planned maintenance. That confirms the reason given to guests, but it does not establish a new dining concept, a replacement menu, or a redesigned dining room. None of those should be promised on the strength of a reopening date.
The restaurant’s distinctive draw remains its view into the aquatic habitat at The Seas with Nemo & Friends. If that setting is your reason for booking, review the menu when reservations open for your dates and decide whether the food and price also suit your group.
Protect the Rest of Your EPCOT Evening
A dinner reservation and park admission solve different problems. Disney requires valid park admission, and a park reservation may also be needed for your ticket type. A restaurant booking alone does not get you through the EPCOT gate.
Before choosing a late table, compare it with the entertainment and attractions you want to enjoy that evening. Leave walking time in the plan rather than treating the reservation time as the end of the meal. Our EPCOT planning guide and Disney World dining guide can help put that choice into the wider day.
