EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts is getting more room to breathe in 2027. The winter festival will run January 15 through March 1—its longest schedule yet—with 19 Food Studios, Disney on Broadway performances, hands-on art, and an expanded Disney Lorcana presence.

2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts Dates Set a New Record
The official 2027 Festival of the Arts announcement confirms a January 15 opening and March 1 finale. That is 46 days when both endpoints are counted.
For comparison, the 2026 festival ran January 16 through February 23, or 39 days. The 2027 schedule starts one day earlier, adds a full week at the end, and carries the event into March for the first time. That extra week also changes the handoff to the Flower & Garden Festival, which begins March 10.
What Is Returning to the 2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts?
Disney has confirmed 19 Food Studios around EPCOT. Full menus are still coming, so there is no reliable way yet to rank booths or calculate a dining budget. The number does tell us that food remains a major part of the festival rather than a small add-on.
- Animation Academy drawing sessions
- Expression Section community paint-by-number mural
- Chalk Art Galleries and live artist demonstrations
- Artful Photo Ops based on famous works
- Artist appearances and Disney artwork for sale
- Disney Lorcana activities and festival exclusives
Disney Lorcana is the presenting sponsor. The Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, Collection Quest, and Illumineer’s Lounge are scheduled to return, along with promotional items and gifts with purchase. Specific terms, quantities, and purchase requirements have not been released, so collectors should wait for Disney’s final rules before treating any item as guaranteed.
Disney on Broadway Concerts at EPCOT in 2027
The Disney on Broadway Concert Series returns to America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion. Disney says a new pair of performers will take the stage about every two weeks, with several shows each evening.
Standby viewing is included with EPCOT admission and uses first-come, first-served seating. Dining packages will offer guaranteed seating, but Disney has not announced the performers, showtimes, participating restaurants, prices, or booking date. Once the lineup arrives, choose a date based on the performers first and a dining package second; buying a meal only for the seat is not always the best value on lower-demand nights.
When to Visit the 2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts
The longer schedule gives winter travelers more flexibility. Opening weekend will attract guests who want first looks and new merchandise, while the final weekend may draw fans of the last Broadway pairing. Between those bookends, a weekday is usually easier for browsing art booths and completing hands-on activities.
Do not assume every offering runs from park open to close. Artist signings, drawing sessions, concerts, and scavenger-hunt distribution can follow separate schedules. Use our EPCOT planning guide for the park layout, then check the My Disney Experience entertainment calendar close to your date.
What Disney Has Not Announced for the 2027 Festival
The full Food Studio menus, Broadway performer lineup, concert showtimes, dining-package details, artist calendar, merchandise, and day-by-day activity schedule remain unannounced. Disney also has not promised that every past activity will return exactly as it operated before.
The firm planning anchors are the January 15–March 1 dates and the confirmed categories of entertainment. Book travel around those facts, but leave room to adjust the EPCOT day once the performer and menu details arrive.
