Passholder Preview Dates Set for Muppets Coaster and Soarin’ Across America

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders now have preview dates for two reimagined attractions arriving before Memorial Day: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Soarin’ Across America at EPCOT.

The key date is May 26, 2026. That is when both attractions are scheduled to open to all Walt Disney World guests. Passholders get earlier access during V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster previews on May 21, 22, and 23, and Soarin’ Across America previews on May 19 and 20.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Preview Dates And Virtual Queue Times

Passholder previews for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 21, May 22, and May 23, 2026. Disney is using a virtual queue for these preview days only.

There will be three virtual queue distribution times each preview day:

• 7:00 AM: available to Passholders with a Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park reservation for that day.
• 11:00 AM: available to Passholders with a reservation for any Walt Disney World theme park that day. Passholders must enter the park tied to their reservation before visiting Hollywood Studios.
• 3:00 PM: available to any Passholder with valid admission. Disney says a park reservation is not required for this distribution.

Disney also notes that Passholders do not need to have entered a theme park before requesting the virtual queue. Each Passholder can request to join no more than once per day, and getting a boarding group is not a guarantee that the preview will happen. Capacity and attraction availability still matter.

The refreshed coaster sends guests toward The Electric Mayhem’s big night, giving Disney’s Hollywood Studios a new Muppets anchor after the park’s recent changes. It is still the high-speed indoor coaster guests know, so this preview is best for Passholders who are comfortable with inversions, a launch, loud music, and a darker ride environment.

For planning, the preview process is the biggest practical detail. If this is the main reason for your visit, the 7:00 AM drop is the cleanest path because it requires a Hollywood Studios reservation. The later drops may help Passholders who are starting elsewhere, but those boarding groups can move quickly.

Soarin’ Across America Preview Details

Soarin’ Across America will preview for Passholders at EPCOT on May 19 and May 20, 2026. This one is simpler: Disney says Passholders may join the standby queue during normal operating hours, subject to capacity.

The new film is described as a flight over the natural beauty and cityscapes of the United States. Since it uses the existing Soarin’ theater setup, this preview should be easier to fit into an EPCOT day than the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster preview, but capacity can still close off standby access.

Important Passholder Rules To Remember

Passholders need a Walt Disney World Annual Pass with valid admission for the preview date. Blockout dates still apply, and theme park reservations may be required depending on when and where you start your day.

• If you have a park reservation, enter that park before hopping elsewhere.
• Passholders may visit a park without a reservation after 2:00 PM, except Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Preview dates, hours, distribution times, and offerings can change or be canceled.
• The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster virtual queue is only planned for the preview period, not the May 26 public opening.
