The booking window for 2024 at Walt Disney World just opened, so now is the time to book!

I say this because Disney is expected to have one of its biggest and most significant years ever in 2024.

These are the top seven reasons to travel to Walt Disney World in 2024.

Catch Up on the Rides You Missed

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Many visitors vowed not to visit Walt Disney World once the pandemic was over until things had returned to normal.

I’m glad to say that this took place a while ago. But you might have waited unfortunately.

If you did, when you return to Walt Disney World, you won’t even recognize it!

Disney may have opened up to ten (!) new rides since your last visit, the majority of which are legitimate E-ticket attractions, depending on the date of your most recent trip.

You have probably been on Avatar Flight of Passage Pandora – The World of Avatar, as well as perhaps Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Can you say the same thing about the first ride to feature Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway?

Have you experienced either of the newest rides at EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind?

TRON Lightcycle

Given that it won’t open until late in 2023, I am aware that you haven’t yet seen Journey of Water | Inspired by Moana.

Likely, you haven’t gotten on the Tron Lightcycle / Run either.

Return of the Dining Plan!

The Disney question I encountered the most was “When will the Disney Dining Plan return?” throughout the pandemic.

I honestly believed the Disney Dining Plan would have been eliminated if former CEO Bob Chapek had remained in charge.

The dining plan is actually already available for trips in 2024. And since these dining plans are excellent, you should do that.

Your daily two meals are covered by the dining plan. A non-alcoholic beverage and a Snack credit are also included with each meal.

You can have a stress-free Disney vacation in 2024 if you use the Disney Dining Plan.

The Disney Hotel Perks Are Returning!

Disney has already made the unusual decision to state that it will continue to provide hotel guests with benefits in 2024.

Early Theme Park Entry, one of the best amenities available, is currently available to guests staying at an official Walt Disney World resort.

You can enter your preferred Disney theme park up to 30 minutes before it opens to the general public with early theme park entry.

Use this extra time to guarantee yourself a ride on your preferred vehicle.

The busiest attractions at the time tend to attract a lot of visitors.

You’ll probably be able to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind this way by the year 2024. additionally, perhaps TRON Lightcycle / Run!

A further exceptional amenity is available to guests staying at Deluxe tier Disney resorts.

Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are what Disney calls them. Disney keeps one of its parks open for extended evening theme park hours on two nights per week.

You’ll get two hours in the park on these nights when hardly anyone else is there. It’s similar to a Disney After Hours party where nobody shows up.

Thanks to this amenity, you can see SO MANY attractions in just two hours!

Generally speaking, the schedule places Magic Kingdom on Wednesday and EPCOT extended hours on Monday.

Disney does, however, occasionally include Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the mix as well.

Lots of New Restaurants

In spite of the pandemic, Disney continued to open new eateries.

Depending on when you last visited, you might not have yet had the chance to try out fantastic options like Space 220 and Steakhouse 71.

With its extensive menu and quick coffee fix, Connections Café and Eatery has delighted customers at EPCOT, while La Crêperie de Paris has filled everyone’s sweet tooth.

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers will debut later this year at Disney’s BoardWalk, which is located just outside of EPCOT.

Rodeo Roundup BBQ can be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios when you board the Disney Skyliner.

A number of new restaurants are soon to open at Disney Springs.

The best of them is Summer House on the Lake, a popular restaurant for fine dining in Chicago that will soon be a part of the Disney Springs collection.

In conclusion, when you visit Walt Disney World in 2024, you’ll discover more fantastic restaurants than ever!

The New Shows and Entertainment

Happily Ever After

Disney doesn’t make all of its long-term plans public at once. Instead, the parks gradually reveal information over time.

Nevertheless, we are aware that Walt Disney World will soon get new entertainment.

This tactic has generated a flurry of fresh presentations. For instance, Disney debuted four new shows for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.

Three of them had a set number of performances. For devotees of the Disney Parks, Disney KiteTails, Disney Enchantment, and Harmonious produced priceless memories.

Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life is still being performed at Disney Springs.

Disney Enchantment and Harmonious will probably be replaced by new attractions in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT in 2024.

Even if they don’t, you might not have seen the current nightly presentations yet!

EPCOT Forever made its debut in October 2019, ended early due to the pandemic, and then made a final comeback in 2023.

Happily Ever After has returned to Magic Kingdom, much to the joy of many fans who thought it was lost forever.

In other words, you’ll find nighttime shows you either already know and love or haven’t seen. They’ll all be overflowing with Disney magic, of course!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Debuts

Disney has done a fantastic job re-theming older attractions in recent years.

For instance, Imagineers were limited in what they could do with California Screamin’ at Disney California Adventure’s ride tracks.

With the redesigned The Incredicoaster, Disney managed to tell a delightful tale involving Jack-Jack Parr.

Disney uses the same area to display a squad of superheroes pursuing the most potent infant in the world.

Then, in Disney California Adventure, we have Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT. Many visitors have no idea that this attraction was formerly known as Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

The story is so brilliant and the changes are so dramatic that it feels complete and original.

With Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Disney will now accomplish a related outcome.

The former Splash Mountain ride structure has been transformed by Disney into a gorgeous 1920s romp honoring Disney Princess Tiana’s accomplishments.

You’ll see the much-anticipated The Princess and the Frog sequel on this ride. After that, you’ll get soaked! It’s going to be awesome!

You Won’t Need Park Passes, Probably!

Disney recently modified its park pass policies. For Disney fans, these works of art were the offspring of the Devil.

To ensure social distance during the pandemic, Disney required head counts for its various parks.

Park Passes therefore made perfect sense for a while. In addition to regular theme park admission, Disney asked visitors to make reservations for the parks.

However, Park Passes ought to have disappeared once the pandemic was over, however, they didn’t!

To enter Disney theme parks at the moment, park passes must still be reserved. But that will adjust in time for your 2024!

You won’t require a Park Pass as long as you purchase calendar-based tickets, which are the current standard tickets sold by Disney.
