A new GEO-82 button in My Disney Experience hints at an easier way into the EPCOT lounge, but it is not a usable walk-up option yet.
WDWNT observed a Join Walk-Up List button on the GEO-82 app page. Tapping it currently returns an availability error, and the same page still says reservations are required. Disney has not announced a launch date for the feature.

What Changed in My Disney Experience
The app now displays Join Walk-Up List between the map and directions controls for GEO-82. That is the clearest sign Disney is preparing the digital queue, but the error screen means guests cannot count on joining it today.
Until the venue page changes, a dining reservation remains the dependable plan. A visible button is not the same as available walk-up capacity, and even a working list would not guarantee that a table opens during your EPCOT visit.
Why This Could Matter at EPCOT
GEO-82 is a 21-and-over lounge near Spaceship Earth. A working walk-up list would help adults who decide on the lounge after entering the park or who miss the reservation they wanted before their trip.
It could also make the venue easier to fit around rides and festival stops. The tradeoff is uncertainty: joining a list requires flexibility, while a reservation gives the day a fixed anchor.

What We Still Do Not Know
Disney has not confirmed when the walk-up list will activate, how much same-day capacity it will offer, or whether the reservation-required note will disappear. Check the live app page before changing an existing reservation.
