Disney World offers a variety of food options beyond the standard burgers and fries. In honor of National Cheeseburger Day, this article highlights some of the best cheeseburgers available at Disney World. The options include the Bacon Cheeseburger from Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom, the Bison Cheeseburger from Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods from Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom, the burger options at D-luxe Burgers in Disney Springs, the burger choices at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater in Hollywood Studios, the Stack Burger at Steakhouse 71 in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the iconic Cheeseburger Spring Rolls available in Adventureland. Each burger offers unique flavors and experiences for Disney World visitors.
Disney World has a TON of different food options — it’s not just your standard burgers and fries anymore! You can get food from around the world, exciting limited-time offerings, and tasty treats.
But what if you DO want a good burger while you’re vacationing? Well, in honor of National Cheeseburger Day, we’re here to help you out!
Cheeseburgers of Disney World
We’re going to talk about some of the best cheeseburgers (and their variations) that you can find around Disney World! Come along with us on this cheesy journey.
Bacon Cheeseburger — Plaza Restaurant
Let’s start off with a classic—the Bacon Cheeseburger from Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom! This is an Angus beef signature-blend patty with smoked bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and signature sauce on a potato roll with a side of fries for $23.
If you want the traditional flavors of a delicious cheeseburger with a view of Cinderella Castle, this is the place to be. That signature sauce is the orange-ish one you can find at most places with a “signature sauce”—you know the one.
Bison Cheeseburger — Geyser Point Bar & Grill
Now for something way less traditional, the Bison Cheeseburger from Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! It’s served with bacon, sweet, crispy onion straws, marionberry sauce, and garlic aïoli for $21.
This also typically comes with a side of waffle fries to round out the meal. This is a pretty hefty burger!
It has more unique flavors than you’d usually find on a cheeseburger with the sauces. It also has a nice crunch from those crispy onion straws!
This is a great way to get a little outside of your comfort zone while still getting the comfort of a delicious burger.
Cheeseburger Steamed Pods — Satu’li Canteen
If you want something a bit different than a classic burger, go for the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods from Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom! These are bao buns with cheeseburger filling.
The official description is a steamed cheeseburger pod stuffed with ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and cheddar cheese served with crunchy vegetable slaw and vegetable chips for $13.29. There is also a kids’ version with only one pod for $8.59, and it comes with the chips, a Cuties mandarin, and small DASANI bottled water or low-fat milk.
These taste kind of like if a McDonald’s cheeseburger were in a bao bun, in the best way! They’re super soft and fluffy, but they still have those classic cheeseburger flavors.
It’s definitely a fun option if you want something a bit different!
D-luxe Burgers
There are a ton of great burger options over at D-luxe Burgers in Disney Springs!
There’s the Bacon and Blue Burger (with onion jam, bacon, and blue cheese), the Barbecued Burger (with a fried onion ring, Muenster, and barbecue sauce), and your classic cheeseburgers (with or without bacon!).
The prices of these burgers range from $10.99 to $13.99. And there are sometimes limited-time burger options available!
There is also a plant-based cheeseburger here with plant-based gouda for $12.99. So, a little bit of something for everyone.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
Another place with a lot of tasty burger options is Sci-Fi Dine-In at Hollywood Studios! One of our favorites is the Drive-in BBQ Burger, which has their signature blend of beef and house-made seasoning served on a brioche bun topped with 9-hour smoked pork, bourbon-bacon jam, cheddar, lettuce, and barbecue sauce for $23.
They also have a Classic American Burger with bacon and burger sauce for $21 and a Pork on Pork Burger with a pork patty, pork belly, and white sharp cheddar for $23.
For plant-based eaters, grab the Flying Saucer Impossible Burger! This is a grilled plant-based burger with grilled portobello mushroom, “cashew-mozzarella”, garlic-tomato “aïoli”, nut-free pesto, lettuce, and tomato for $22.
And don’t forget to ask about The Feature Film Burger, which is the burger special that changes regularly!
Stack Burger — Steakhouse 71
The Stack Burger can be found only at lunch at Steakhouse 71 in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It’s a signature blend of beef topped with pork belly, American cheese, lemon aïoli, red onion, and house-made pickles on a brioche bun for $21.
It’s also served with a choice of a petite Caesar salad, parmesan fries, or pasta salad. This burger also has two thin patties, making it a great option for a filling meal!
There’s definitely no shortage of cheese on this burger — just look at it, isn’t it beautiful?! We promise it tastes as good as it looks.
Cheeseburger Spring Rolls — Adventureland Spring Roll Cart
We’re ending with an absolutely iconic fan favorite — the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls! These are another alternative to an actual burger and can be found at the little spring roll cart located in front of the entrance to Adventureland if you’re coming in from the Hub.
There are usually two flavors of spring rolls here, the cheeseburger is almost always here, and then there’s a rotating flavor (right now it’s pepperoni pizza!). You can get two spring rolls for $9.50, and you can mix and match or get two of the same kind.
These are such a great snack, and they taste exactly as you think they would. They’re cheesy and delicious, and they even have pickles inside! Don’t forget about the sauce it comes with either; it totally takes these up a notch.
