🌟 A Blast from the Past 🌟
On a gray day at EPCOT, we noticed something beautiful: colorful Spaceship Earth-like panels being added to CommuniCore Hall and Plaza construction! Although the new event space won’t be ready for the Festival of the Arts, we’re thrilled to see the progress!
But what makes this construction so special? Let’s take a trip down memory lane! 🕰️ EPCOT’s timeless triangular geometry, most notably featured in Spaceship Earth, is a nod to the park’s original aesthetic. Even the CommuniCore name harks back to EPCOT’s roots, emphasizing the park’s central idea of community.
🌟 CommuniCore Hall and Plaza: The Heart of EPCOT 🌟
In 2024, CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza will join the Walt Disney World Resort as part of EPCOT’s multiyear transformation. CommuniCore Hall and Plaza, a multi-use facility and outdoor event space, will bring EPCOT’s international festivals to the park’s center. The Plaza will even host cozy musical performances that spill into nearby gardens. CommuniCore Hall will be a flexible exhibition and gallery space, offering a wide variety of experiences that highlight art, live music, food, and more! 🎨🎶🍲
