It’s no secret that Avatar Flight of Passage is one of the most well-liked attractions at Walt Disney World. Although the ride in the enchanted World of Pandora opened years ago, it is still a popular attraction with long lines.
Because it is so well-known and adored, fans of Flight of Passage stuck with it when Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance swept Hollywood Studios. Even when compared to more recent rides like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON, many contend that it remains Walt Disney World’s best ride.
Flight of Passage remains one of Disney World’s most popular attractions.
My Disney Experience issues
Unfortunately, there are problems with the attraction right now. The ride isn’t down in the park, but there are problems with it in the My Disney Experience (MDE) app.
First of all, the app’s search function cannot find it. Second, it does not appear when you view the park map, including the wait times.
Even worse, Flight of Passage does not appear in the app’s Genie section. This means that you are unable to view wait times or reserve a personal Lightning Lane for the ride through the app. If you’re hoping to avoid the standby line (however long that may be right now, we cannot see it! ), then good luck with that. You must go to Guest Relations in the park or perhaps give them a call.
And, yes, my app is up-to-date and no updates are available!
Hopefully Disney tech will find a solution to this problem soon. However, if you plan to visit Animal Kingdom today, June 13, be aware that if you want to ride Flight of Passage, you might need to take a few extra steps.
