For Pride Month 2023, Walt Disney World Resort has a new candle holder and set of glasses with a rainbow Mickey. The candle holder was found at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom, and the glasses set was found at 5&10 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Mickey Pride Candle Holder – $29.99
The large candle holder features a Progress Pride Mickey head on one side.
The Progress Pride flag features a traditional rainbow, as well as black and brown stripes to represent LGBTQIA+ people of color and light pink, light blue, and white stripes to represent the trans community.
The candle holder is not dishwasher or microwave-safe.
Mickey Pride Glasses – $29.99
This set includes two glasses with the same design as the candle holder and one side with a Progress Pride Mickey.
As in previous years, Disney has not indicated that proceeds from this year’s collection will be donated to LGBTQIA+ organizations. Disney does list LGBTQIA+ organizations that they support on twdcpridecollection.com.
More Pride Month 2023
Every June, the world commemorates the Stonewall riots with Pride Month, though Florida saves some celebrations for the cooler fall months.
More Pride 2023 merchandise, including a Spirit Jersey and a Mickey ear headband, is available at Walt Disney World. There are also Marvel Pride and Star Wars Pride collections.
Disneyland Resort is commemorating the occasion with the inaugural Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite. Both events are completely sold out.
Disneyland Resort offers the same Pride 2023 merchandise, as well as their own food and beverage items, a Pride sipper, popcorn bucket, and other souvenirs.
