Hey there, Disney fans! If you love a good spooky story and enjoy thrilling rides, you probably know about The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom. Well, we have some fun news for you! After two years of being fixed up, one of the coolest scenes— the graveyard picnic—is almost back in action!
The Return of the Duchess
A little while ago, we told you that a ghost named the Duke had returned to the picnic table after a long absence. But guess what? The Duchess has finally joined him! During a recent visit to Magic Kingdom, we stopped by to check it out, and there they were, seated together once again. How exciting is that?
What’s Still Missing?
While it was great to see both of them back in their spooky spot, it’s not quite fully restored yet. Right now, the animatronics (that’s a fancy word for robots that look like people) aren’t moving, and their drink cups are missing. Normally, you’d see them raising a toast to the “good (after)life.” So, it looks like there’s still a bit of work to do!
